College is a Time

If you must attend college, don’t cram. And if you cram, you probably will fail. There are 2 reasons college students cram. Students cram because they are either scared of the material needed to learn, or they have an ego problem.

Scared of the material? The only reason students procrastinate (and you may have heard this a lot) is because of their fear that they will not do well on the next test, hence they are timid to really sit down and get cracking.

The second reason students cram is that they think they are overly smart. With too much of a confidence invested in his or her own abilities, a student can quickly feel that they will be able to learn the information quickly and then ace the test.

But think about this - if you can learn the information in 8 hours you can also forget it in 8 hours. You’re not as smart as you think you are. We’d all be geniuses.
